Our Story
In 2016, Tara set forth on a grand adventure: a move from Boulder to Dublin, where she didn't have a job or a place to live.
In 2018, Caroline embarked on her own adventure: moving from LA to Berlin, with 3 cats and husband in tow.
Given the state of the world, many people have said they share the dream of Getting the F*ck Out.
Caroline and Tara will tell you how they made the leap, with families in tow. Look for episodes twice a month with practical tips and discoveries made along the way as these two make homes far away from home.
Caroline Donahue
Writer/Coach/Podcaster
Caroline is a writer, writing coach, and host of The Secret Library Podcast. She is the co-editor of the anthology I Wrote It Anyway, and is currently working on a novel.
She shares stories from Berlin in an irregular series of notes.
Tara Calihman
Writer/Comedian/Bruiser
Tara is a humor writer, stand up comedian and content strategist. Her writing has been published on The Cooper Review, Blunt Moms and HelloGiggles. She can be found at various open mics around Dublin, making jokes about her cervix and her child.
